Delete Your Account: Arisn

The short version

You can delete your account directly inside the Arisn app: no email or form required.
Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data from our cloud, and cannot be undone.
No account? Your data already lives only on your device: uninstalling the app removes it.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way and removes everything in one step:

Open the Arisn app and make sure you are signed in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

Can't access the app?

If you can no longer open the app or sign in, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete your account and data on your behalf:

We will action verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently erase all data linked to it from our cloud (hosted on Supabase). This includes:

Journal entries, reset logs, and urge surf sessions	Permanently deleted
Profile, bookmarks, and onboarding answers	Permanently deleted
Brotherhood handle, posts, comments, and votes (replies other members left on your posts go with them)	Permanently deleted
Reports you filed and members you blocked	Permanently deleted
In app notifications and push notification tokens	Permanently deleted

Anonymous app analytics (see our Privacy Policy) are never linked to your account, so they contain nothing that ties back to you.

Purchases & subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: manage or cancel that in App Store → Subscriptions or Google Play → Subscriptions. Records held by Apple, Google, or our payments provider (RevenueCat) for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention purposes are retained only as long as legally required, then deleted.

Retention period

Account and personal data are deleted immediately when you use the in app Delete Account option. For email requests, deletion is completed within 30 days of verifying the request. We do not keep backups of deleted account data beyond the short rolling window required to operate our infrastructure, after which it is irreversibly purged.
